At the headquarters of the Sicilian Region, ESA palace, in Via Beato Bernardo 5, in Catania, Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 10:30 a.m., will be presented ‘Frutech,’ the major Mediterranean trade fair event focuses on agriculture and technological innovations that, over the years, have transformed and improved farms and the agri-food sector, to be held from Nov. 28-30, 2024, at the SiciliaFiera fairgrounds, in Misterbianco.

Participating in the press conference will be Regional Councillor for Agriculture, Rural Development and Mediterranean Fisheries, Prof. Salvatore Barbagallo; SiciliaFiera President, Nino Di Cavolo; and the chairman of the technical-scientific committee, Professor Alessandra Gentile, professor of General Arboriculture and Tree Crops at the University of Catania.

The aim is to enhance agrifood excellence produced throughout the country, with a special focus on regional products and organic production, ranging from agriculture to technological innovations. The event will take place over three intense days of networking, meetings, round tables within the largest exhibition area in the South, in the heart of the Mediterranean.
