The largest trade fair event in the Mediterranean, ‘Frutech – Mediterranean Fruit & Vegetables Expo,’ will be held Nov. 28-30, 2024, at the SiciliaFiera exhibition center in Misterbianco. The topics the expo will focus on range from agriculture, to technological innovations, to organic production. Frutech enjoys the patronage of Assosementi-Italian Seed Association, which is the trade organization representing the seed sector nationwide, consisting of plant variety breeders, producers and distributors. The association is structured into several Sections, each dedicated to specific types of crops: horticultural, cereal, forage and industrial crops. There is also a fifth Section, transversal to the others, which brings together plant variety breeders. President Eugenio Tassinari said that ‘Participating in Frutech, a fair dedicated to the world of agriculture in Sicily can be an added value and of great interest to their association.”
